Advies
Axiaalventilatoren zijn genoemd naar de richting van de lucht die ze verplaatsen. De stroming is evenwijdig aan de draaiingsas van de ventilatorbladen, waardoor ze geschikt zijn voor hoge luchtprestaties bij een gemiddelde drukopbouw.
Axiaalventilatoren bestaan in wezen uit een ventilatorhuis met bevestigings- en installatie-elementen, de aandrijfmotor voor het ventilatorwiel met zijn ventilatorbladen en de elektrische aansluitingen. Bovendien kunnen controle- en zekeringelektronica tegen vernieling van de ventilatormotor in geval van blokkering, zoals beveiliging tegen polariteitsverwisseling en overbelasting, rechtstreeks op de ventilator worden geïnstalleerd. Bovendien zijn er aanzuigmouwen, beschermingsroosters en andere nuttige accessoires.
Axiaalventilatoren zijn zeer plat door de ruimtebesparende integratie van de motor. Met de grootte en de geometrie van de ventilatorbladen wordt een bepaald volume per tijdseenheid getransporteerd, afhankelijk van het aantal omwentelingen van de motor. Ook de lagering van het ventilatorwiel is van invloed op het rendement. Naast kogellagers hebben ook magnetische, contactloze lagers hun weg gevonden naar de ventilatortechnologie. Door het doorgaans lage gewicht van de rotor en de zeer nauwkeurige uitbalancering zijn axiaalventilatoren bijzonder goed bestand tegen schokken en trillingen.
Axiaalventilatoren kunnen worden gebruikt voor intermitterende en continue werking in elektronische apparaten, in de ventilatie-, koel- en klimaatregelingstechniek, in de automobielindustrie, in windturbines en in de machinebouw en de apparatenindustrie.
Bijna alle axiaalventilatoren bij Conrad voldoen aan Richtlijn 2011/65/EU voor grenswaarden van stoffen die gevaarlijk zijn voor de gezondheid en het milieu. U vindt dit in ons assortiment onder het menu-item RoHS als selectiecriterium.

- Luchtdebiet
Deze specificatie beschrijft het haalbare debiet en varieert van 0,76 in liter per minuut tot 1.705 in kubieke meter per uur. - Geluidsniveau
De geluidsontwikkeling wordt gemeten op een meter afstand van de ventilator aan de inlaatzijde en varieert van 1,6 tot 78 decibel (afkorting dB). - Type lager
Dit beschrijft de lagering van de roterende as, die van grote invloed is op de geluidsontwikkeling en de levensduur van de ventilator. Er zijn enkele en dubbele kogellagers, enkele glijlagers en glijlagersystemen, alsook magnetische lagers (Vapo). Deze laatste hebben het voordeel dat de rotoras contactloos wordt ondersteund, zodat geen materiaalslijtage optreedt. - Breedte, hoogte, lengte
Met de inbouwmaten kunt u direct kiezen aan de hand van de eisen van uw te ventileren component, zodat bestaande kastopeningen of te vervangen ventilatoren gemakkelijk te beperken zijn. Voor de hoogte, deze begint al met 2 millimeter. - Nominale spanning
De voedingsspanning van axiale ventilatoren is voor de meeste modellen variabel over een bereik. De nominale spanningen variëren van 3,3 volt gelijkstroom tot 240 volt wisselstroom. - Snelheid
De snelheid varieert van 1.200 tot 100.000 omwentelingen per minuut. - Aansluiting
Er zijn vier soorten aansluitingen: platte stekkers in 2,8 en 3 millimeter, kabels met open uiteinden en schroefklemmen. - Beschermingsklasse
De beschermingsklassen gaan van IP20 (beschermd tegen vaste vreemde voorwerpen met een diameter van 12,5 millimeter of meer en tegen toegang met een vinger) tot IP 58 (beschermd tegen stof in schadelijke hoeveelheden en volledig beschermd tegen aanraking, alsmede tegen permanente onderdompeling). - Diameter
Voor sommige producten met ronde behuizingen worden de behuizingsdiameters in millimeters aangegeven.
FAQ: veelgestelde vragen
Waarop moet u letten bij het gebruiken van axiale ventilatoren?
- Alleen geschoolde elektriciens mogen elektrische ventilatoren installeren, proefdraaien en werkzaamheden aan het omliggende elektrische systeem verrichten.
- Het product mag alleen worden vervoerd, uitgepakt, bediend, onderhouden en anderszins gebruikt door geïnstrueerd en geautoriseerd vakpersoneel.
- Bij werkzaamheden aan ventilatoren moeten systemen en machines waarin het product is geïnstalleerd, worden beveiligd tegen opnieuw inschakelen.
- Maak u vóór het begin van de werkzaamheden grondig vertrouwd met de gebruiksaanwijzing en neem de daarin waarschuwingen ernstig in acht om persoonlijk gevaar of storingen te voorkomen.
- Lichaamsdelen die in contact komen met het eigenlijke blad of de waaier kunnen verwondingen oplopen.
- Andere onderdelen kunnen worden bewogen of rondgeslingerd door de luchtstroom van de ventilator.
- Er is een potentieel risico op verwondingen door lang haar, hangende kleding en juwelen. Deze kunnen vast komen te zitten en in het product getrokken worden.
- Voer geen reparaties uit aan ventilatoren, maar vervang defecte ventilatoren door nieuwe.
Hoe lang gaat een axiale ventilator mee?
De levensduur van axiale ventilatoren kan oplopen tot zes cijfers bedrijfsuren wanneer ze worden gebruikt zoals bedoeld. De meeste producten hebben tussen 20.000 en 70.000 bedrijfsuren. Exacte waarden zijn te vinden in de gegevensbladen.
Mogelijke storingen bij axiaalventilatoren
- Mechanische blokkering
Schakel uit, maak spanningsloos en verwijder de mechanische blokkering. - Netspanning defect
Controleer de netspanning, herstel de stroomtoevoer. - Verbinding defect
Verbinding corrigeren. De aansluitbezetting is te vinden in de gebruiksaanwijzing. - Motor te heet
Laat de motor afkoelen en zoek dan naar mogelijke oorzaken van de storing. Controleer ook de omgevingstemperatuur volgens het productinformatieblad. - Motor draait niet
Als de motorwikkeling onderbroken is, vervang dan het product. - Ruwe loop van het ventilatorwiel
Dit kan worden veroorzaakt door onbalans van de draaiende delen. De ventilator schoonmaken helpt vaak. Als na reiniging nog steeds onbalans wordt geconstateerd, moet het product worden vervangen.
