Meeraderige draden boordevol flexibiliteit
Ons uitgebreid assortiment meeraderige draden maakt het u graag eenvoudig. Ze zijn al verkrijgbaar vanaf twee aders, maar uiteraard loopt het aantal aders ook sterk op. U vindt ze in alle typische kleuren en dit voor uiteenlopende spanningen.
Waarvoor gebruikt u meeraderige draden?
Meeraderige draden bestaan steeds uit een aantal aders. In onze webwinkel vindt u bijvoorbeeld meeraderige draden met twee aders, maar ook met drie, vier of acht. Hierdoor legt u met één draad meteen alle aders die u nodig heeft, zoals de fasedraad, de nuldraad, de aardedraad en de schakeldraad. De meeraderige draden zijn verkrijgbaar in verschillende kleuren, waardoor u ze meteen correct verwerkt in uw schakeling. Het gebruiksgemak van deze draden is een van de vele voordelen, want u hoeft ze niet met krimpkousen of andere bevestigingsmiddelen aan elkaar te bevestigen.
Meeraderige draden met litzedraad
In deze categorie vindt u voornamelijk meeraderige draden met litzedraad. Dit heeft vooral te maken met de gewenste flexibiliteit van meeraderige draden. Voor dergelijke meeraderige draden houdt u wel rekening met enkele technische specificaties.
Het joule-effect geeft aan dat stroom die door een geleider loopt in warmteproductie resulteert. Indien de geleider onvoldoende dik is, zal deze extreem verhitten en kan er kortsluiting of brand ontstaan. Een ader moet dus voldoende dik zijn om er een stroom doorheen te laten lopen. Daarom kunt u opteren voor litzedraden, waarbij de stroom zich over de aders zal verdelen. Het is immers de totale dikte die telt, dus hiervoor zijn dergelijke meeraderige draden zeker geschikt. Daarnaast is er de wet van Pouillet, maar ook die maakt het mogelijk te werken met meeraderige draden.
Het voornaamste nadeel is dat u bij het gebruik van een kabelklem niet alle draden klemt, maar dit valt eenvoudig te verhelpen door arendeindhulzen, kabelogen of kabelvorken te gebruiken. Het voordeel ten opzichte van massieve kernen is dat litzedraden veel flexibeler zijn en dat de draden veel minder snel breken. Daarnaast spreekt ook het skineffect in het voordeel van meeraderige draden. Dit effect, waarbij de stroomdichtheid hoger is aan het oppervlak van de geleider, zorgt ervoor dat litzedraden veel meer stroom kunnen verwerken bij hogere frequenties door het toegenomen aantal draadoppervlakken. Zeker bij hogere frequenties krijgen meeraderige draden op basis van litzedraad dan ook de voorkeur.
Welke soorten meeraderige draden zijn er er koop?
Meeraderige draden zijn verkrijgbaar in verschillende aderdiktes, gaande van 0,04 mm² tot 4 mm². Daarbij gaat het vooral om litzedraad, maar zijn er ook massieve varianten verkrijgbaar. U kunt ze zowel per meter bestellen als op rollen tot maximaal 3.000 meter. Vooral eventuele bijzonderheden zijn hierbij belangrijk. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan de vlambestendigheid of aan halogeenvrije uitvoeringen, die bij verbranding geen giftige gassen produceren. U gebruikt dergelijke halogeenvrije draden in ruimtes met moeilijke ontruimingsmogelijkheden, zoals ziekenhuizen of ondergrondse parkings.
